I have always owned an autococker and am looking at getting an automag for a second gun. I was looking at RT's and I have been hearing mixed opinions about them. Some people say they have feed problems. I also hear that they are inconsistent with velocity and spike all over the place. If anyone can set me straight on this it would be appreciated. Also I was wondering how many shots everyone gets out of their tanks. 47/3000, 68/3000, 68/4500, etc. Im not sure what nitro setup I want to get for either, that is why I am asking. Sorry for the long post.
RT Gas Efficiency

Inconsistant??? BAH!!! Mine is as consistant as any other gun out there... Just keep your reg seat clean and in good shape. I check it every so often, maybe once every 3 months. Consistancy is really more a function of your paint to barrel match. Get a good match and a good reg seat and you'll shoot the same speed all day long. And as for feeding problems, just make sure you have a fast loader. RTs can really rip and need a loader that can keep up. Revvys arent always up to the job. Look into a warp or a Halo (I cant say anything about the ricochet, because Ive never tried one). And gas efficiency is another thing that the barrel and paint have a big effect on. Paint that doesnt fit or a barrel that has too many ports can lead to poor gas efficiency. Shooting medium sized RPS paint through my Lapco Bigshot (med bore, not much porting), I can get about 600 shots out of a 68/3000, before the tank pressure drops too low to keep the trigger reactive. Im getting a 68/45 as soon as I can save up the money! Get an RT, you wont be sorry!-Gig 'Em Ags! -

Magking, what size tank? If you lose 350psi in a bigger tank, you've lost more air than if you lost 350psi in a smaller tank.-Gig 'Em Ags!Comment
