So I finally broke down & upgraded to a ReTro valve. The instructions say to adjust the input pressure to 700 psi & then tweak from there. I've got a constant output tank, but I had a Gen-X reg on another marker. I slapped the Gen-X on my Mag & brought it up to a little past 600 psi & the stupid reg started venting out the bottom.
Regardless, even at 600 psi the ReTro is truly a thing of beauty. I am *amazed* at the response of this thing!
But I can't help thinking: if the stupid reg would go above 600 psi, would the ReTro be even *better*?
So now I finally come to my question: does anyone know of any way to make a Gen-X reg go above 600 psi? I'm not having any recharge problems w/the Gen-X at high rates of fire & I'd rather not dump bucks into an adjustable tank if I can fix the Gen-X for cheaper. Any advice would be appreciated...
