I have a Dye boomstick on my mag RT and I bought it because I was curving paintballs , I got my barrel and it was still curving so I sent it in the replced all the o-rings and the bolt(and the body rail but that does not effect the accuracy) then I got it and the paint is still sliding like 4 feet right so I went on to BBTpaintball and got and ANS phase 2 10 hole venturiebolt, I have changed my paint,my nubbin,my powertube spring is now a spacer. I think I have spent close to 300$ and done everything I can think of to improve the acurracy and none of it worked. Does anyone else know anything I might try to get it shooting straiter?
make your more accurate

How do you check you paint/barrel match, tom said something with a powder(he problyknows best) but some people say powders scrach ur barrel. is it ok to use like baby powder or corn starch?

the easiest way to determine your pball to barrel match is to put the ball in the barrel and blow it out. If it rolls it is too small. If you cannot blow it out it is too big. You get the idea.

If you are sighting down the side of the gun that could possibly be your problem. The body on an auto mag is slightly larger in diameter than your barrel. So if you are sighting down the side of the gun it will appear that the paintballs are curving.
I had trouble aiming my minimag at first because of this.
Hope this helps!

for a while I had an adco hotshot site and it did not help so I do not think I was aiming down the side and I have looked at the freak system and it is a bit pricy(I understand, so is the sport). I always try to shoot the same paint so would I need more than 1 insert.

Is your paint consitantly curving? Is it actually curving? I also wanted to clariy that if different brands of paint curved. Is this correct? Have you tried a different barrel? I had a 32 Degree Carbon Fiber that was angled to the left about 1/2 from the center of the treads. Turns out it was a production defect.
Personally I would ditch the proballs. I have purchased 3 cases of the proballs (atleast one of the cases was from a different store) and 80% either curved wildly or just plain broke in the barrel constantly. Bad run of paint maybe? Diable Blaze proved to be a good and consistant paint.
Good Luck.

Well, yes if you turn down your velocity, then it will shoot more accuratley.
Try testing your paint-barrel match. Drop a ball in, if it rolls through it is too tight, if you blow it through without alot of pressure then it is good, if your face turns puple trying to blow it through, then it it too tight.

I'm sure it is not the barrel because it also did it with the stock barrel. But I have ordered a case of diablo paintball and I hope that helps.
