RT Pro Reactive trigger gone bad

    Good day all...

I recently sent my gun to Airgun Designs and since I got it back my reactive trigger no longer bounces as it did in the past.

Airgun documented what they did to my gun and it is as follows:
    --------------------------
    Changed .225 to .215 PT spacer, .750 to .755" on/off pin.
    --------------------------
Would the above work be responsible for the aforementioned issue??

Just in case someone from Airgun is reading..my Customer number is 200172 on repair ticket #88662.00

Any and all help is most appreciated.

    almost forgot

The unit was also chronoed at 775psi and of course the reactive trigger needs approx 900psi so whom ever would have no idea...

In the middle of tourney season, this is pretty crappie!!!

They gave you a longer on/off pin, that'll cause the trigger to be a bit less "reactive"

        here

This is from the Airgun site...

The AUTOMAG RT, like any manufactured product, will vary a bit from one RT to the next. Our testing shows that the best input pressure for each RT will be somewhere between 650 and 750 psi. This is why we recommend 700 psi as a starting input pressure.

Higher input pressures will make the trigger more reactive, but the velocity will drop off more when fired slowly.

Lower input pressures will reduce the reactive trigger and may cause slight shoot down on rapid fire, but the RT will be more consistent over the chronograph when fired slowly.

Best input between 650-750 so 775 isn't bad...What did you send the marker to AGD for? Was it for inconsistent velocities?

          For general tune-up o-ring replacement

My N2 regulator on my airsystem blew so I took this down-time opportunity to send it to AGD.

Turn up the input pressure and/or put the shorter on/off pin back in. That'll fix it!

When the trigger bounces like that at 900psi and teh short pin thats a MALFUNCTION of the gun. Run away is bad, and will lead to the break down of other parts.

The RT is just suppostto kick tehtrigger back not be a full auto.

                Reliability

                THX so far!!!

What I want and I think everyone else wants... is reliability and ooohhh yeah... semi-freak'in crazy fullauto. Before my sending the gun to AGD the unit was bouncing around looking for balls to feed the bolt.

What I would pay to hear now is other testimonials declaring "the way the gun was set up before is truly detrimental to the guns hardware" and/or " great!!! You have found your guns true potential, now make space for new trophies".

Either way... w/ the middle of season and all I want true reliability to which AGD is famous for. Not knowing my guns true potential burns my imagination and motivates my desire to tweak.

Please let me know RT PRO owners and AGD lovers alike.and/or

Agreed... hell I have I a 68 mag powerfeed and sometimes through short stroking it'll go full auto for like 4 rds.. I know this is bad thats why I try if at all possible to keep it from happening. As tunaman stated.. just shoot it like it is. It will be what you want, reliable+consistent. If you go tweaking or trying to get it to run full auto.. you only make things worse and possibly damage the internals. THEN YOU WILL BE SOL for this tourney season.
