    eliminating the bottleneck

i've been thinking(dangerous prospect) and from what i've been reading i think the air flow bottleneck in the a.i.r valve is the reg. right? so why not yank the reg pin, seat, and spring assembly and use a palmer stab or other high flow reg to adjust your dump chamber pressure? anyone have thoughts on this?

Nope, the bottleneck is the passages into, and out of, the on/off. The AIR only regulates the working pressure for the gun.

Moot point though, as more than enough gas makes the passage in record time, shootdown is not a concern with 'Mags.
