    Reg. Leak Tried EVERYTHING!!

Ok, I get a HUGE leak out of the back of my minimag. I replaced all possible o-rings and seals, I completly rebuilt the valve. Heres what happens, I screw the compressed air tank on and the trigger is stiff but it wont shoot and it wont leak or shoot until I screw the vel. adjuator in and gets worse the further I screw it in, then it will shoot only once and no more than once but leak massivly. I've been playing with it forever now and can't figure it out! Whats the prob? Is my reg. piston screwed?

    Thanks,
    Darren

Sounds to me like the blow-off assembly in the piston is completely bad. Getting a new piston should fix it. Are you sure everything else in the gun is assembled correctly? Only other thing is an issue with your reg. seat and reg. valve pin.

Anyway, I see you're from Eugene. Do you happen to make it up to Weekend Warriors to play at all? If so, you can see me there frequently this summer. If you need any help or want to chat about Mag stuff, just catch up with me at the field.

It could be the seat but I have to wait to get my compressed air tank filled to see if what I did fixed it. How would I know if the reg. valve pin is bad? Would it just be bent?

I've never been to Weekend Warriors and I have no idea where it is. I just got back into paintballing after a 2 year leave and bought this mag used about a week ago. Thanks for the help.

There's WW's site. You can find driving directions there.

As for the reg. valve pin, usually the only thing that can go wrong with them is if they get bent when someone puts the gun back together improperly.
