    Help! My Emag's Dead!!!!!!!

this is my first post....i'm an autococker user turned mag. and i love my emag, but read on, i'm trippin'!

I read many places that it's quite easy to lighten the trigger pull on the emag by simply screwing in the magnet located on the backside of the trigger. so i did it, but i went too far and the magnet came out. no biggie....so i simply got some needlenose pliers and carefully screwed it back into position. let's turn it on to see if it made a difference.....what?! NO POWER!!!!! the gun refuses to turn on in E mode!!!!

so i freaked and checked the battery, full charge. i opened the grip and checked the connections, everything seems fine, but i get no response from the LED, not even a blinking light, nothing! what could i have possibly done by removing that magnet???? what i figure is that i possibly tripped some breaker to shut it off. the magnet did "hop" around the grip frame a bit sticking to it and maybe it dislodged some other magnet or mechanism within the grip frame which is causing it not to start up. anybody have an idea what could be wrong?

Odds are the magnet is now not properly adjusted. It is probably screwed in so that the hall effects is always ON. Try to unscrew the magnet so that its farther away from the hall effects sensor.

you can set the trigger dangerously light and short, trust me I know
first off turn the allen key so that the trigger magnet is further away from the back of the grip frame near the hall effect sensor (just like what Webmaster says). Second if you adjusted the rear travel set screw, then re-adjust the pull to be longer. Make adjustments in really small increments as, not a lot of turning goes a LONG way. Hope this helps.

I think they missed the point to your post. Ifr there is not power up display then you have other problems. Fist , if you can check the voltage in the red wire to the screw that holds in the board. If you unplug all fo the jacks it should still power up. Try these things then repost .
