I got an automag and I can't get the valve out. I've had about 4 other mags, so it's not like I'm new to this. I unscrew the quick strip screw and then I disconnect the braided hose and it just won't come out. It's a little loose, but it just doesn't slide right back like the other mags I've had. In fact, I've got another mag here right now that works just fine, so I have something to compare it to. I can't figure this out.

Second that.. it even says in the video to do this.. it will keep you from breaking them accidentally.
Also..push the reg assembly forward a little..then twist it clockwise (air inlet going down)it should slide out you may have to twist it one way or the other once you get it past the first catch. This is desinged so the assembly won't fly back at your face if the bolt comes unscrewed without you knowing.Comment

Ok, had the saame prob w/my emag this weekend. Will tell you how I fixed that...use a dental tool (or some object close to that size), insert it under the valve, near where the on/off valve is. Push down on it, once you locate it (assuming you are holding it upside down). Hopefully, you hit the pin and re-seat it. any questions...or clarification, email me.Comment

I got it...
You guys were right, the on/off valve was sticking out. For some reason pressing the trigger didn't push it in far enough. I took the frame and rail off and pushed it in and everything came off just fine. The valve seemed a little dry, so I oiled it up and everything seems fine now.Comment

If you have already taken the bolt out when you try to pull the trigger there is enough give that it won't depress the on/off pin, just make sure you do it before you loosen the bolt, and after you degas the gun and you should be fine.

You cannot get the bolt out without first removing the valve...Originally posted by Bwaites
