Sick And Tired Of My Emag!!!!!

I just got home from yet another terrible day of paintball with my micro EMAG...this thing is a shredder! I am so sick and tired of this gun...how can I pay 11100 for a friggin gun that works like this???? WITH MARBALIZER!!!!minus the breaks its a great gun...but I cant take this...WHATS UP????

I've heard horror stories about the tolerances on the Micros. Maybe the level 10 mod might help you.

If you have access to "borrow" a emag rail and mainbody you might want to slap together an actual emag and see if that helps.

It's just a thought.

I dont see how that would make a difference and I dont have one available to try anyway...I CANT BELEIVE THIS GUN MAN...i have had a automag....then R/T.,..NOW THIS THING...if anyone from AGD is reading this...you have one pissed of GOOD customer on your hands right now...I have got so many people to buy your guns and now this is what I get from a "top of there line marker"

The tolerances are a huge issue, just see what happens when you loosed the grip screws and fire. If things aren't tight, then things screw up.

Also, keep in mind that the marker you are holding is not an AGD product. It is a Pro Team Product assembled with some AGD parts. Some of the parts PTP used may not meet AGD specifications and therefore may cause them to malfunction.

Whats the deal with this new emag coming out...when and what do you think of it...what is the deal with the lvl 10 mod ppl are talking about..what is it?

To fix your problem.... we'll need a bit more info! Is it chopping, or are the balls breaking down the barrel? If it is chopping, when is the gun chopping? Only at high rates of fire, or even when you just shoot one or two? I see that you have a very old loader. It might not be able to keep up with the extremely high rates of fire that are sooo easy to achieve with the emag. Maybe you should look into a warp or a HALO. Check to make sure the PTP detent and the detent spring are still in good shape. Just stay calm, dont do anything drastic! We'll find out what's wrong with it and get her ripping!

They break all the time...more often when shooting fast...I had a warp feed...I sold it..hated it...gun still broke balls...what should I do about the spring..how can I tell how they should be...im use to a R/T....not Emag...barrel shoots fine...its the gun, or something in it.

Okay. I will get this gun fixed for you, but you have to cooperate.

First things first, is it JUST paint breaking down the barrel, or do you have paint blowing up the vertical feed neck and covering the bolt?

What kind of bolt are you using? If it's the stock AGD bolt you need to try rounding the tip as shown in this thread. http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...threadid=32839

Let me know what your bolt roundness is on the scale of 1-10 in comparison to the bolt that hasn't been rounded.

Next are you always shooting Marballizer? Try doing a bounce test by taking the paint and dropping it from 6 feet onto hard ground and seeing how many bounces you get before it breaks. Do this with about 10 balls and report the number of bounces before break for each ball. Do this ON the day of when you play. Otherwise the temperature conditions won't be the same so the paint will be either more or less brittle. You can do a bounce test right now, but the numbers won't indicate exactly how the paint is when you're playing.

PTP uses a different style ball detent for their gun. Make sure it can pivot and move freely and that the tip that touches the ball isn't sharp.

Are you using only one barrel? Have you tried different barrels with the same paint? Have you tried a Freak and tried fitting the paint to the right bore size and see how it performs?

Try dropping one ball in at a time and firing it. If you're getting breaks that way, your paint is ultra brittle, something is wrong with your barrel or the alignment with it and the breech or possibly the detent is messed up.

Lastly, set your MROF to 12bps. If you're just using your Shredder, it's not going to feed much faster than that. Heck, try setting your MROF to about 9bps and see if you get chops. If it stops with a lower MROF, then you know your hopper isn't keeping up and it's not an issue with the gun.

Anyway, those are plenty of things for you to look over. Either way, we'll get your gun fixed and working fine. Please just have some patience and don't blame AGD. The only parts of theirs that are in that gun are the valve and the electronic components. If it's an issue with barrel to body alignment, ball detent or something messed up in the body, that's a PTP issue and AGD has no control over that.

Please report back here with what you find. I want to get this gun up and running for you so you're happy.

i have a PTP Mag, was using a stainless freak, had a xBoard Revvie and using Proball/Proball Platnum. chopped all friggin day. so, i bought a HALO thinking that would help. i still chopped like a *****. after thinking for ever so long, i thought...humm..maybe ill stick my old All American back on there. poped my HALO on top, so Proball in, and the AA on the front. rattled off all 180rnds w/o a chop as fast as i could pull the trigger. i was very impressed with the preformance. i would try putting on a one piece(not the JT barrel, not the Freak, not the CP) and see if that does it. it sure did for me. I now shoot LAPCO barrels and sold the freak.

A warp will solve most of your problems,and I have found that Emags don`t like Smartparts barrels for some reason.

You should also give the warp another chance... Very few people hate it once they've adapted to it. Id didnt like it at first either, but I wasnt going to give up on something that cost that much! I can hardly play without one now!

Try this to see if it is Blow by or bolt deflection that is causing problems. I had problems with my centerfeed emag and it was bolt deflection. Put 2 balls in your feed tube with no hopper and fire. I did this and watched the second ball fly up out of the feed tube about a foot and a half in the air. I put in a stock longnose bolt and it cured my chopping. The second ball fell straight into the breech.
