    RT help needed.

ok , I have a armson/PTP micromag RT , When I pull the trigger the gun fires like normal, as long as I hold the trigger all the way back the bolt remains all of the way back where it is suppose to be . When I release the trigger the bolt moves forward and protrudes into the chamber (looking straight down the vert feed) about 1/16th of an inch. It's causing me to chop some paint any ideas as to what causes this would be helpful.

    THanks

First thing you should do is check the bolt and sear for wear. Also verify that the bolt spring goes past the tip of the bolt when it's on the bolt.

From what I can tell.. thats normall behavior of a mag. Your chopping may just be from the centerfeed.

The reason I think this is normal is I was cleaning my mag saturday after a long day of paintball. I had the body off the rail as I'm getting a new one soon, prolly before I play again. Anyway. I with the body off.. I re-assemble the valve onto the rail (no gas of course) just to see how the sear mech worked. Once on the rail.. the bolt can slide about 1/16-1/8 inch (didn't measure but its not all the way back on the bumper) until the sear catches it. The spring is only there to return the bolt to the sear assembly. Once you let off the trigger and gas the chamber back up.. the bolt will slam foward and catch the sear. Next time you gas your mag up and hold the trigger.. when you let go and hear that CLICK that was the bolt sliding forward

Anyway.. mine does it and I haven't had any problems. Just My 2c

I DO NOT RECOMMEND PRESSURIZING YOUR MAG WITHOUT THE BODY ON IT for obvious reasons.

If they're not so obivous.. there's nothing to return the bolt..
If you don't understand.. don't do the above!
