double regulating a retro mag? is it needed

I have heard that with the regulator that comes with the retro valve, there is no need to put another regulator on the vert adapter. Is this true? will 2 regs starve the marker?

I have a air america reg i use on a cocker. Should i go with a gas through grip or should i use the extra reg?
I'm running a nitro duck 88 ci 3k nitro system.

No, just get the gas thru, adding an inline reg would be tripple reging the gun because you have a reg on the tank and a reg in the gun.
