Ok Im not to educated on all the Co2 stuff but since it freezes easly when it turns to a liquid state the liquid gas goes into the gun and a mag will shoot it out the back till the liquid is gone there are things called i think siphons that help keep the liquid out so what i heard thats what you would need and it goes on your tank some how.

If any of that can be corrected please do so.

    Bye,
    Martin

Well.. I think you meant Anti-siphon kits. And yes.. You would need an Anti-siphon kit setup for your tank and your mag. You would probably need a local proshop to install it. Use this setup if you want your tank mounted on gun to act as a stock/dropforward.

I would sugget running a remote, so the bottle is upright and you wouldn't need the anti-siphon kit running this way.
Also invest in a good expansion chamber. A 6 stage would do nice and I believe ACI makes one for like 25$. This will eliminate any liquid that may have gotten through the remote escape from the upright bottle. Goodluck and Welcome to AO!

i am about to order a tko automag and i already have a smartparts antisiphon co2 tank. if i added a good expansion chamber, would it keep the liquid out of the gun?

Again, anti-siphon A siphon is designed to suck liquid CO2 from the tank, which is great if you have a Montneal, but the LAST thing you want to use on an automag.

see here for more info on anti-siphon and siphon tanks.

For a basic CO2 setup an anti-siphon or remote are *almost* mandatory. (There are some people who get by without one, but its generally not recommended. See BTAutomag's gun for a notable exception.) You may get by fine with only that, although an x-chamber is generally a good precautionary addition (and will probably help your consistency).

The best CO2 setup will have a CO2 friendly inline regulator like a Palmer Stabilizer or AKA Sidewinder, which will virtually guarantee no liquid getting to the AIR valve and can give you very good consistency. The only issue here is that for the cost of the reg, you may want to buy one of the cheaper HPA tanks instead.

EDIT: Also, if you do a search you should find more info on CO2 and automags than you can shake a stick at

I have found that using a remote and a gas threw forward grip works great with CO2.

The problem is, that anti siphon was probably set up for a specific bottom line. If you're planning to put a tank on a new bottom line, the tube may be sticking in the wrong direction when you screw your tank in. If your unsure about taking the valve off by yourself to check, then take it somewhere to get it done. You don't want to mess around if you don't know what you're doing.

If its like the anti-siphon tanks that paitballgear.com sells with the smart parts on/off valve, I believe they install the anti-siphon so that it is properly aligned when the on/off know is pointed up (or at least that's the way it sounds from reading their page ) The trick is then just to screw your tank into the asa until the knob is positioned correctly. You could put a shim in the bottom of the ASA to keep you from overturning it. And if you can't get it to work, you could always take it to a shop and have them fit it to your gun.

In terms of x-chambers, you may see a little more of a benefit in an on-gun situation which won't have the hose on a remote to act in a similar fassion. Even so, while an x-chamber won't hurt, you may do fine with out one and that will save you a couple bucks in your budget. My advice is to try it and see; if you find that you have freezing problems then consider what the next step would be.

Quickest and cheapest way to do it is to screw your tank into a vert ASA. Use the tank itself as the foregrip. Ran mine like that for a long time, never went liquid.
