    Operating pressure and Velocity

    Ok, I just bought a tank with an adjustable output pressure. So what is the best pressure to run my 68 Mag at?? today i ran it at around 700. But my Velocity spiked real bad. I was like 291 first shot then 206 right after that. What do you guys run your mags at and whats velocity do you shoot. I just wanna get my mag working smoothly and consistent. I have a 114/3000 Air america Raptor. I played good today adn all, but I didnt like that spiked chrono. I don't have any mods to my valve or anything.



    SET UP :
    68 Mag P/F
    DYE Boomy
    32 Degrees red stickies
    new frame, can't remember what kind, not electric or reactice though.
    12 V revvy with Xboard
    114/3000 Compressed Air.

          Did you open the regulator halves on the valve. You do realize that every time the reg halves are seperated you have to replace the reg seat in your mag. That could be the problem.

              I've never takin that apart. I've only have the whole back piece out once and that was when the guy i bought it from showed me how it came out.

                  Butterfingers - Could you point out anywhere where someone official said you had to replace the reg seat anytime you separated the two halves of the valves? I did a search and I'm having no luck finding anything with regards to that.
