You might as well make it Bushy AND Defiant vs. Matrix, since they're basically identical.

It depends, The Bushy/Defiant I find to be the more versatile (and prettier) gun, but the Matrix is unmatched as a back-players gun, with it's incredible ability to lay paint. The Matrix is a gas pig, and is maintenance intensive, the Bushy is slower, but less maintenace intensive. The Bushy is good out of the box, the Matrix needs 2 upgrades to be really worth it.

Note that the Matrix is very reliable as long as you keep the bolt greased(alot), also a Red Bolt Kit and Trinity are a must for reliable and fast performance.

??? The only reason my Bushy is slower than my Defiant (yes, I have both) is because the Defiant has a Chaos chip installed. The defiant can fun full-auto now at around 16 bps (I don't remember what the max bps programming is set at in the chip). With an eye installed, it's only limited by how fast you can shove paint into it (i.e. Warp). Once you hit 16 bps or more (w/o chopping or shoot down) is one gun really "slower" than another?

i like bushies better, but they can have wierd problems. Replace the nubbin with an autococker nubbin and they works great. Bushies can come out looking and preforming really nicely. They are quiet, accuracte, fast. I just don't like the size (it's like 3 stories of gun in there).

I'll take a mag any day!

the JoKeR: The Bushmaster is slower than a Matrix, not than a Defiant. If you noticed, I didn't once mention the defiant after the first line because it IS a Bushy.

The Matrix is capable of 20bps or more, while the Angel an Bushmaster designs are only capable of 16-18. This is one big advantage of the fixed volume designs like the Matrix and AutoMag/ReTro Valve over pin-valve designs, they can recharge at absolutely ludicrous speeds with a good reg on them.

Chaos chip is 16bps max. Nice but so tourney illegal it ain't funny.
