the retro valve is said to charge much much much faster than the original, the original you can shoot 16bps i think, and with the rt valve i think its 24 or something, i'm not sure. it also has a reactive trigger (hense rt). as it is said to believe, that if the trigger pull is 4lb, then it would force the trigger back in position at 8lbs for much faster bps.. i've yet to shoot any RT (3 so far) that i've noticed a good force back in position. but, thats what it is..

Rikkter, the trigger return not exactly a subtle thing. They might have had their input pressures too low. Tell them to turn it up and shoot them again. If something isnt wrong with the gun, you'll feel it.

actually he had the input pressure going at 1200 psi.. so. there was definitally a force back but not what i expected.

err, the recomended output pressure for a retro is between 750-900 i think, 1200 is insane

The ReTro Valve uses the incoming pressure from the tank to push the trigger back out. It is noticeable, and will increase your ROF. Classic valves do not do this, and require that you fully release the trigger before each pull. The RT helps you release the trigger, and "bounces" your finger against the trigger.

Standard AIR valves can do 16bps before measurable shootdown occurs, which is still really fast. The RT valve can do 26bps before measurable shootdown, no other valve or gun can keep up.

The RT-Pro, Emag, Emag Extreem, SFL2, and C&C Emag, all use the ReTro Valve. Modified Paintball Products sells a replacement board for the Emag, which allows full-auto fire. The ReTro can sustain 20bps full auto until the hopper or air tank runs out, and do it with near perfect consitancy shot-to-shot. Again, no other gun or valve can do this.

welcome to AO. the retro valve is the fastest recharable valve on the market. it can shoot at very high rates of fire and and very low shootdown
