i have a tube of that dow33 shocker lube that came w/ my new tank. lately i have been using it on some of the o-rings in my mag. it this stuff safe?

yes, it's o-ring safe. DOW 33 swells o-rings less than DOW 55 does, which is to say hardly at all. just don't go using it for a butter substitute....
