?? about on/off & reactor valve

Do I really need to change out my on / off valve to a Reactor on / off ? I am shooting a 68 Mag on co2 w/ exp chamber.

nono the reactor valve makes no difference in preformance and can only lead to breakage.
There is one rule that i can say for sure. Don't replace your mag internals with aftermarket parts, except things like power tube spacers which are made by AGD. Don't do any trigger 'mods' either they do nothing but mess up your gun.
If you want a big jump in performance get a nitro system, with a good barrel a 47ci can last you 800 shots. Running a mag on co2 makes your mag work at 50% of potential.

Thanks for your help. I have seen where you guy suggest not to mess w/ after market parts to much. My next goal is to run the gun on Nitro, but I don't know what / how is a decent set up that won't cost an arm & leg. This is what I'm thinking: Can I get away with a pre-set tank for awhile? then later add a Palmer Stablizer.

It will run your gun fine. I use one on my Emag.

Not so. I run a Reator Valve On/Off with my Hyperframe and it's better than ever. In fact I tightened up my shot to shot velocity with just this upgrade alone. If you want to highly modify your mag then you have to play around with other parts as well. So far the only thing I haven't liked is the ANS Phase II Reg. For some reason it starves my marker... I'll fire rapidly and it'll piss and fart air till it's dry then you can actually hear the reg recharge itself. Weird... My 2 cents.

i saw a comparison that the reactor vavle look very similar to the RT on/off valve, curious eh? Maybe it isn't bad, but I am lucky to have gotten a very good mag outta the box, and it's performed so flawlessly that I'd be wary of putting aftermarket parts in, I'd just wait a little while and get an RT and not waste my money an shady upgrades along the way.

Look and the Air systems forum some good deals there on N2 tanks. :)
