I think I just broke my gun

I was just dry-firing my gun really fast and for awhile to get all the air outta my tank(I realize now that there are smarter ways of doing this) and all of a sudden my trigger became very hard to pull back. So I stopped firing, afraid that my gun would explode, and rolled my chair over here to post this. What happened, and what should I do?

degas the gun then take the valve out.pull the on-off assembly out and check it for problems, oil it and put it back together. sounds like your on-off got jammed up.
