Facts and opinions, eh? OK, here you go:

Fact: Ricochets feed faster than a standard 12V Rev, just a hair slower than a Rev with X-Board.

Opinion: I personally can't outshoot a regular Rev (nor can most people without a super-electro or some kind of trigger assist), so it doesn't matter too much to me.

Fact: Ricochet's customer service is excellent. I e-mailed them about a problem I had with the lid on mine, to see if I could buy a replacement lid to try and solve the problem. A week later, an envelope with TWO free lids showed up in my mailbox.

Opinion: Any company that shows its customers that kind of support deserves all the business I can send their way, so I always recommend their hoppers.

Basically, if you try to compare a Ricochet with a HALO, for example, you're just going to be disappointed. If, on the other hand, you're looking for an affordable motorized hopper with decent performance, I think you'll like it.

Anyway, that's just my 1/50 of a dollar...
Everybody else seems to have a picture of their 'Mag in their sig, so what the heck; here's mine:

I also heard Ricochets have a ball detent in the neck to keep balls from feeding back into the hopper, but I dunno

err, i personally do not like ricos.

first off, in my opinion they r ugly and big. sure the shot counter is cool, but for $20 less, u can get a faster loader (12v revvy w/ xboard).

        id go w/ a 12v revvy w/ xboard

i love them. They feed everytime you fire a ball, so you get the same performanc as intelii feed. PLus, they do have great costomer service, and the plastic is better made the revvys. I have seen the balls actually ricochet off mine and other peoples'. So that does work sometimes.
I love this loader. Fast, reliable, deflection engineered, works on one battery, and looks really cool IMO. I definatly recommend it.

My girlfriend rides a moped. How cool is that??!!

Mr. mag, they are smaller and definatly lighter and have a smaller profile on your gun. The engine assembly is much smaller and sleeker, so it is smaller then a revvy.
plus for that 20$ less you can get the ricochet AK, which is the same thing but w/o a LCD screen, just as good though.

well from what i have seen, they r bigger.

anyway, it is up to u, but id go w/ a revvy.....unless ur planning on going to warpfeed later, because the warp hose clears the ricos, so u dont have to melt or cut them

I dont have one yet but here is what i know for sure.

Ricochets do bounce balls as people claim, they feed a constant 13bps rate, and they feed EVERY time. The way this works is that the ric's use a switch instead of infrared, like a revvy does. The switch makes the ric rotate two revolutions every time that switch is hit by a paintball, ensuring a ball in the breech. Also, infrared gets dirty and doesn't work. Like if you broke a ball, your out of luck, which would suck a lot in-game. Rics hold 185 balls, which is the same as a revvy. They arent bigger, but are proportioned differently so they may look bigger. You get 5000 shots with one 5volt battery, and that is in a 2k, AKs possibly get more shots becuase they lack a LCD display.

Very good point.. Fact:yes they do have a roller switch that extends into the feed path so they agitate every time a ball goes by. This has a double feature, first as said it agitates loader after every shot.. also it keeps the balls from bobbling back up the feed tube due to blowback, as the arm of the switch stops the balls from being shoved up the feed tube.
I've never used a rico, and I don't think I'm gonna get one since I have a 9v revvy with a four prong paddle intellifed and I'm yet to out shoot it and my warp. BUT, they are definately a good loader. Fact:Way cheaper than a halo.. and more reliable than the infared system the revvys use.
I personally have no use for the LCD..but they are good to have if you're a tourney player since you can set the game timer and you'll know when you have to make that final push to win the match!

Dude. The balls DO ricochet. I shot my friend's visor one time on his mask and that bounced. Now, if you think about it, the ball was going DOWN onto his mask, and the visor is tilted down to the ground....so like this --> /--. And that bounced. I have to believe that a lot of shots will bounce off this thing, not all of course i know. Smart people realize the ricochet is better if you just look at it. But hey, stick with your revvy everyone, that just makes it easier for me.

i dont like the rics. i have seen people outshoot them and i have problems were it doesnt feed a ball and then i start breaking paint. And when you start running low on paint it doesnt always feed. so you should just buy the 12v w/ X board
                              Darnit i broke it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
