cutting down the tube is now problem. It was made long to dissuade that ONE person who would decide to put thier finger in and pul the trigger.
As long as you have an agitated loader you'l be fine. Using a classic feed mag with a un-moterized loader is asking for serious toruble. A ricochet loader has a roller switch instead of a infared sensor like the revy. This blocks balls from going back into the loader, so hold them down, preventing blowback. A classic feed with a ricochet will give you preformance as good as a powerfeed.

My girlfriend rides a moped. How cool is that??!!

actully cutting it down can be a problem.

the feed tube is long enough for 3 or 4 balls if i remember correctly and the weight of those balls is what helps keep the next one in line from bobbling due to blowback.

bigger stack = more balls. more balls = more wieght. More wiight = more blowback would be needed to puch the balls up. bigger stack -= less bobble.

Yeah, and besides the wieght issue, there is a problem with the position of the balls. If they are halfway in the correct position, you could have feed problems (slow and chops). It depends where you cut it, and I dont know the correct length.
