star warrantee question

i recently bought and recieved a retro valve. upon inspection, i didnt notice any stars on the exterior of the valve. where are the stars located on a retro valve?

Retro valves do not have stars on them... here's a link to AGD's current warranty policy:

But to boil it down, here's what's said about retro valves.

All E-Mags, RT Pros, Retro Valves and Flatlines without engraved stars have the equivalent of 2 stars. We will "punch" the valve to show that a warranty repair has been done on the valve. We are going to begin laser-engraving stars on these valves soon.
