The difference between a Micromag and a Micromag 2000?

Title pretty much sums it up. What's the difference between a Micromag made before the Micromag 2000 series and the Micromag 2000 series. Weight? What else?

    No, it does not matter.

      old micro:
      powerfeed
      mag gripframe

      micro 2000:
      vertical feed
      RT gripframe

Different milling (the old one is just slightly lighter)

I noticed the different milling from old pictures of a Micromag 2000 from Ronin's rants, raves, and Reviews, and Ravi Chopra's Reviews of a Micromag II, from 1996. I have that article in an old issue of APG....somewhere...

I know the difference in feeding, but is there any advantage to a vertical feed over a powerfeed?

Last, what do you mean by a " 'mag" frame or a "RT frame"?

Sorry for the questions, just trying to find out the difference between the two.

The RT frame has a flat top where is mates to the body while the standard mag frame hase a channel that wraps around the rail. Doesn't really make a difference.
