Help Please!

I just bought a Benchmark double trigger from a friend for $15. It has a lot of play and after the trigger releases the sear the trigger still continues to go back quite a distance and i was wondering how to stop that. Whaen i pull the trigger slowwly it shoots then the trigger still has a lot of room to move back. Is there anyway to fix this? Please help.

you could have your frame drilled just behind the trigger so that you could use a small adjustable screw as a trigger stop. just adjust it in or out until the trigger stops where you want it.
