    Sealing airlines without teflon tape?

Hey guys, is there another (cleaner) way to seal your 90* fitting without getting all that teflon-tape-junk on your gun? Ive heard that threadlock will work..what color is best? anything else? what does AGD use when they ship out their guns?

    thanks

I use loctite on mine. You want to use blue (aka 242). Not the red (aka 271).

The disadvantage is that parts are harder to take apart, and you can't make changes quickly. The advantages are that the parts are pretty much locked together for pretty much all normal conditions. And it's a lot cleaner.

When you put stuff together make sure to let it dry (maybe cure is a better word) fully before gassing it up.

Here is the stuff you are looking for:

Locktite 545 is more suited to hydralic or pneumatic aplications. If you use the proper sealer, you will have no problem assembling and disassembling your fittings.

The most important thing is to make sure it is a thread sealant you use and not a thread lock.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

          Loctite Purple, not Blue.

Blue is like red but weaker, purple is a sealant as well.
