Parabolic Plug set screws...

I was reading about somebody's feed problems on AO, and somebody mentioned that the powerfeed plug was adjustable via set screws. Low-and-Behold, i have these set screws in my plug, as well as some chopping issues (probably my fault, but im willing to try anything) so could someone help me with the position of the powerfeed plug in relation to the breech of the gun? Right now, the plug overhangs in the breech by about 1 mm. is this ok?
