MOST fields have a 300fps rule

      I keep mine at 285-290

Won't that be to much air pressure on the ball?

I have a question that relates. How do you adjust the velocity (where's the screw)? I had a tippmann but just bought a used automag classic and I don't have a manual.

          Thanks

the back of the big silver thing on the gun, called the regulator. there's a nut that has a hex-shaped hole. screw it in to go higher, or out for lower. be careful though, one full turn will increase/reduce the velocity bt 100fps.

call AGD and get a video, manual, and register your gun. The video is very helpful in learning the mag.

Yes the video and manual can be recieved free from AGD when you register your mag. Also stick around here, you will learn alot .

I've been playing for about 13 years. One thing I have noticed, is that my best accuracy/velocity is about 260fps. You give up some range, but not much since the rate of deceleration is much greater at the higher velocities anyway. The increase in accuracy and consistency makes up for the loss in velocity. Try it, you'll be amazed.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
