whats the best reg for a mag im thinking about getting a wgp black magic reg cuz my friend has one and it is one consistant biotch or a pmi pure energy reg i was just wondering what you guys (and girls) think

Hey Bud,
You don't need another reg on your mag. You already have two (the one on the tank and the one on the back half og the mag valve). Triple regging a mag will only result in starving the gun, and thus, major shootdown.
Leave the add-on regs to the cocker guys and don't worry about it. Spend your money on paint, you'll be happier.

another reg is triple regging. Which is bad, unless you got Co2 and you're attaching a palmers or something.
Cockers need an external reg because they don't have an internal regulator like a mag does.

Hey bud, a reg isn't going to fix that, a mag, depending on setup, can run off of 600psi at the least. any regulator you put on the gun will cut down the airflow and also, most are DESIGNED to go under 600psi. The best thing to do is get the tank filled when you fill it, not just put it over 2000. If your not getting enough shots use a bigger bottle. Another regulator is DEFINETELY NOT the answer. Hell, I'm triple regging my gun now, but that's because my Max-Flo is a double regg'd bottle.Originally posted by dark_link85
