    locktite!!!

I need to know a easy way to get a fitting off my new tank but it has locktite. My dad tried it and couldn't budge it.

CAREFULLY apply some heat to the threads of the fitting. Use a small butane torch and put some heat on the threads. Don't hold it in one place for more than a couple seconds. Rotate the torch flame around the threads and then use a long cresent wrench, properly secure the tank and break it loose.

Use BlackVCG's method, or, if you don't want to use a direct flame, boil a pot of water and stick the stuck part (not your whole tank!) in the water for about a minute. The part will be really clean and you should be able to easily remove the connector with no problem!

Do what black said, and I suggest either having someone strong hold the bottle while you unscrew so you can free your hands, or to take it and wrap it in a towel and GENTLY put it in a vice.
