I can't get the power tube tip off of my classic valve. Its stuck on there. I tried using a coin, and even plyers. I don't want to scratch it up. Anyone have ideas on how to get it off?

Try heating it up with a hair dryer... let it get kinda warm...then carefully use a nickel to unscrew it. Remember... lefty loosey, righty tighty. Not that I had to..I just wanted to remind ya
I've never had mine seize up..but it could just be all grimed up inside..

i just ran into this problem with my retro when i went to install the LvX
for a little extra leverage grip a nickel with a pair of pliers... hold the nickel into the grove with the thumb from the hand holdnig the valve....
when i did this all that was needed slight pressure and it allow it to loosen right upVirus, King of the Basement Trollz has spoken
