Turning the standard feed into center feed

Has anyone done this before? I was looking at my standard body and noticed all i had to do was rotate it and transfer the holes and the slot to make it a center feed. I have got all the holes drilled and am cutting out the slot. I am not shure on how to reattach the grip frame screw nut back onto the body. I can do any kind of welding, brazing, etc., but was wondering if something like JB Weld would also work. Any ideas?

Do you know how they did it? Using a drill, metal mill, dremel tool, etc.?

what are you gonna do about the old holes and slot that will now be letting all sorts of crap get into the gun? why not spend 100-120$ and get a new centerfeed body from the store? then once you get the centerfeed barrel you could switch back and forth if you felt like it.

Duck tape my friend, duck tape. The old holes are half way covered by the body rail, so i just got to keep it out of the dirt.
