AGD question, wear on power tube.

is the wear on my classic valves powertube normal? i think its a bit excessive, and is there anyway i can keep it from getting further damaged?

post a pic of this "wear" you're talking about. Small scratches and scuffing will occurr..after all its steel on steel cycling very fast.. Pics will help.

so to get this clear
you have wear on one side of the power tube
what kinda wear is this? many short scratches, alot of scuffing or deep scratch type? I've never seen this happen but this could mean that the 'ring' inside the mainbody, the one that the bolt spring is up against, is a little skewed to one side, causing the bolt to go through at a slightly at an angle, which would wear the PT in a certain area.

the wear is basically a series of scratches from 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch long, and it starts right at the end of the pt tip (the end that screws into the steel pt.

Do Automag bodies have a warranty on them? could i trade one for one with AGD?

OK how deep are the scratches does your finger nail catch when you run it over the scratches?

yes, and it looks alomost like sand blasting on it, you know the grey color, well, itll be fine for now i just need to figure out what the problem is.
