E-Mag and the Broken Nubbins (Help, AGD)

I've searched the archives, and much info about broken E-Mag nubbins. Today I played rec-ball with my brand new E-Mag, and both the wire nubbins broke. It looks like the bolt pushed them forward and snapped them off, causing a real nasty burr in the barrel

I replaced them with "P" style nubbins. They worked OK.

New gun, fade anno, damaged barrel. I think I need some plastic nubbins and a couple aspirin!

    nubbins...

P nubbins do not get along with the new extended nose bolts. Call AGD, they will send you some V nubbins. I had the same problem until I put in the V's. Now, I have had the same nubbin through 6 cases.

It was the "V" nubbins that broke and gouged the barrel. I will call AGD in the morning, though.

I have P style ones, and Ive had two break recently...One left a little gash in my All American barrel... I dont think it will hurt it cuz its right after the nubbin, but I dont like that... Maybe I should get some V styles. How much those cost?

I just called the techs at AGD...

When I called the techs just sent some out to me. Of course, I have an Emag. I would think they would do the same for any relatively new Mag. If your gun is older they may charge for them, but probably not more than $5 including shipping. Even at that, they are well worth it. With the extended nose bolt you will continually tear up those P nubbins.

Cool, yeah I have a ReTroValve, the valve I just got in december, plus I just registered my flatline tank a couple months ago, so I hope that applies to me!

nubbins...you mean the little do-dads inside the barrel just before the bolt that sorta prevent the ball from rolling out?

just trying to get my terminolgoy straight.

I sat down and looked over Ravi's cocker site and messed with it and it still did'nt work right. I took it to a local "cocker expert and it worked ok until I got it home. New plastic nubbins in testing at the big game this weekend. If they work we could have them next week.

Yeah, I call my gun the most contraversial(I just know I misspelled that! Maybe not... I DONT KNO! gun because its got the Z-Grip(Everyone says "That looks so uncomfortable!"), Warpfeed("That looks so bulky"), foregrip extender(Just looks odd), and I usually use a 10" barrel. Yep! Automag Innovations! Innovative, and contraversial!

                            Thanks, Tom...

I'd be more than willing to try out some of the "beta" version nubbins. If they DO break, at least they won't gouge the barrel.
