I wanted to know if it is possible to tap another 1/8 NTP hole in the vertical adapter that comes with the Benchmark gas-thru foregrip? Also, what tap would I use? Thanks

Yes
You can do it...use a 1/8" NPT Tap. Dont drill the hole to big or your fittings will never get tight
