Im getting back into speedball and need a new hpa tank. Just wanted to know if crossfire 88 is to bulky and can you make it tight to mag with dropforward? I really don't want to go with 68 3000 because of shots. Im a front runner but lay down paint like a backman. thanks.
Anyone running Crossfire 88 3000?

I thought the pure energy was longer than the 68. Or is that the 68 3000 and 88 3000? Also I thought with the cross 88 that its a little longer than 68. Tried 68(pureenergy, cross)and it just wasn't long enough. I shoot my mag sideways and tight. Right now local pbs doesn't have 4500 just scuba fills. So 4500 out. But if I do go tourny all the way probably should get the 4500. Still haven't made up my mind.Comment

It makes sense to buy a 4500 tank. Seems like the new screw-ins are only $50-70 more than the equivilent 3000 psi tank. In addition to the added shots when you can get 4500 fills, the tanks tend to be 5yr hydro vs 3yr (at least in the case of Crossfire).
PMI 88ci are the fat stubby one's aren't they. Almost the same lenght as a 68 but larger diameter.
If you're going to be up front, you'll likely want a 68 or small tank.Comment

i had the 88 3000 crossifre on my mag, w/ a huge drop, and still it was big. It's long and thin. There is no reason for such a large tank on a mag. 68 3K should be enough. Personally, i like to run 47ci.
My girlfriend rides a moped. How cool is that??!!
