Sometimes co2 is the only gas available, can I just drop in a classic valve and hit the field with co2?

IN short, yes, you can drop an A.I.R. valve into an RT PRO. The RT PRO Valve design is that of the ReTro Valve, which is designed to fit into A.I.R. valve mags (ie Minimags and 68 Automags). You may have to do a bit of tinkering with the valve, probably not much more than a longer/shorter power tube spacer.
