    Leaking

I just bought my RT Pro from RT PRO's ROCK. I am buying a new n2 this week but I was chomping at the bit to use my new gun. So I called up a friend to use his nitro (a kingman java 68/4500). Before this I had telfloned both the screw in to the gun and the screw into the bottomline. When i screwed the tank in, it was fine for about 2 shots and 2 seconds and then it started leaking. I put hands over both screws to see if I hadnt telfloned enough, but it was'nt that. I put my hand where the tank screws into the bottomline and it was leaking in there, I tighted and thank as far as I could and leak seemed to decrease slightly, but was still leaking air. So i shot a few shots with some yr old marbs with a chop, but that didnt bother me, the paint was swelled pretty good. But it looks like I'm in need of a new bottomline, and quite upset. If anyone could please respond it woud be much appreciated. Thanks

Is it leaking from where the fitting screws in or the ASA (Where the tank screws in). If it's from the fitting, use for Teflon tape, or ideally use Loctite 545 instead of Teflon tape, if it's from teh ASA, wait until you get your HPA Bottle, yours may not leak (ASA leaks are notorios for only causing trouble with certain bottles), if it does, insert a bottle O-ring into the fitting before you screw the bottle in, that may fix your problem. The ultimate solution is to use a bottom-line with an on/off, as those allow you to adjust how long the pin that engages the valve-pin on the bottle is, the usual problem being the pin in the bottom-line is too long for the bottle's valve pin, and it engages before the bottle is sealed to teh ASA. CP and System-X make on/off bottomlines, which are rail mount though (Your drop needs to have a Armaggeddon rail on it, like the shocktech or CP drops do.)
