I Need Help With My Automag

Don't mess with it!
Everything I've read says not to mess with the sear's trigger rod. I tried to do the same thing you want to do and it made my 'mag short stroke on every shot. I quickly set it back to the way it was. I think the default adjustment for the rod is to have a 1/16" gap between the back of the trigger and the rod.

Trigger Rod Ajustment
I say do mess with the trigger rod, it wasn't designed to be ajusted. AGD did a lot of work on it already, and it shouldn't be touched. For better performance upgrade to a ReTro Valve and/or Intelliframe. I got both and I'm glad I did. One thing though, if you have a Minimag and want an intelliframe you will probably have to change your foregrip or expansion chanber because it won't fit.
