the field strip screw on my mag wont screw in all the way. it doesnt even get half way in before it stops. HELP ME

does it go in all the way with the valve out?

Try this-Push the valve in the body rail so it is sure to be in all the way and then screw it in. or make sure that the holes are alined

Do you have a retro valve on an older mag body by chance? I had the same thing happen when I upgraded to a retro valve on my older mag. The field crew wouldn't go in all the way. The valves aren't tapped as deep. You can put a washer on the field screw(it makes it stick out farther though), or you could cut a little off the end of the field strip screw (not much though).

make sure that the writing on the valve is on the same level across teh entire valve(the reg not screwed into the powertube body all the way)
