    Valve gone bad

    Guys,
I made the mistake of pluging my classic mag up to Co2 too fast, an I think I froze it out. Its now releasing all the air down the barrel. I want to fix it, to avoid buying a new one cause I an selling the gun.
    Thanks,
    Josh

So I don't have to replace it?

The guys at the local store claim that they tried to fix it but the valve it broke they say. They claim I need a new one and say that it will cost me three hundred to get a new valve. I know that they are interested in the gun, and are prob telling me this to stiff me out of my gun. They offered me 120 for it. Let me know where I can get the parts I need to fix it.
        Thanks,
        Josh

Drop $15 for an automag repair kit and break that sucker down and replace some o-rings. Those inept monkeys you let mess with your valve probably lost some.

Everyone that posted to replace the o-ring is right. I bet the guys at the shop know your valve isn't broken and are trying to rip you off. It is almost imposible to "break" an Auto Mag valve. You can mess up the o-rings but the valve itself is almost indistuctable. Unless the power tube has cracked off or something (not that this would happen), it's fine.

absolutely! do you have a manual for your gun?if not, go to the online store and down load one for free.this will tell you how to replace all of the o-rings,order the 'replacement parts kit' while you are there.i wouldnt trust that store you went to to sell you the right parts!

The valve itself is pretty much bulletproof. O-rings are usually the first thing to go. That's why the mag valve is such a great design, there isn't anything that can really break.
