barrel o-rings

i just got plastic nubbins and new o-rings for my barrel and when i put them on the o-ring sticks up a bit where it goes over the nubbin. because of this the barrel gets stuck in the body. is there any way to fix this? i looked at the nubbin but they dont look think enough to file down.

Put some oil on the o rings. That is usually enough until the "break in".

I shaved away part of my nubins so they would fit further down.

should i just use autolube or a different kind of oil?

basically any oil will do ok but i would recomend 3 in 1 oil

if you have Autolube, yes that's the way to go.
