I ave a 68/3k flatline tank and i want to buy a 68/4500. tank only. Can i put the reg from te 3000 onto the 4500 bottle or will it blow up or somethin.

You can put a 3000 reg on a 4.5K tank no prob. You can then only fill the tank to 3K I believe though, otherwise the reg won't be able to take the higher pressure.Once you have shot and eliminated someone, you have established your position towards them. In a sense, the next move is up to them...

the reg may have a failure/burst pressure higher than 3k psi, but extended usage would most likely lead to reg failureComment

The flatline 3k regs cannot be reworked for higher pressure. I've already inquired at AGD about this. You can transfer the reg to a different bottle, but if someone fills the bottle to a higher capacity than the reg can handle, you may cause damage to the reg, and unless you tell them at the time of filling, they will probably fill to what the bottle says.Comment
