new pin valve and nubbins

i just recived in the mail a new pin valve and spring and i`ve noted that my old spring dosent come out ... how would i get the old one out?
as well i recived a new parts kit which has plastic nubbins are the plactic ones as good as the stock wire ones? but the big question is about the spring.

IM not sure about the spring but the plastic nubins are better they wont cut your ball and they dont fold up.

Take the wire nubbin out and put the plastic one in, then take one of the wire nubbins and use it like a pick to get the old wpring out.

If you have a new spring you shouldn't have to worry about damaging the old one.

i like the plastic better than the metal ones. i think that the metal ones chop more paint.
