should it fit snug? i know it should fit perfectly but is it ok to be a little tight? when i was shooting it,,,, it would vent,,, so it sucked the $10 bill into the breech... then i had to pull it out for the bolt to recock....good thing i didn't stick my finger in it... i would have used a $1 but i cvouldn't find any....

When I first tried different carriers, the one that appeared to give just a slight amount of friction had a slight leak when installed. The next smaller one provided noticable force (not stiff) when I pushed it over the bolt stem. It worked great with no leaks and no problems.

        hope this provides some insight.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Once you have it working, add a couple of shims. The amount of shims you add will determine how soon in the stroke it will vent. I have mine set so that I don't get any leaking while I play with the trigger, but as soon as the bolt moves forward after the sear is released, it will vent if it hits anything solid.

Use a squeegie down the barrel to gauge how much pressure the bolt has. You can also use this to see where the bolt starts to vent. Try the different longer springs to see if you can lighten the bolt pressure to make it even better.

              Good luck.
