Will A Retro Valve Sear work with a classic valve setup?

Or is there some tolerance issues? Was wondering cause I need a new sear and would spend the extra money if the retro-valve sear would work being that it is made of stronger material wear bolt catches sear. Thanks for any input.

Standard Automag and Retro Valve sears are the same thing and are interchangeable. The RT-Pro, E-Mag and RT sears can not be used in Auto/MiniMags.

I took my polished, beveled sear from my Mini and used it with my Retro valve. The sear that came with my Retro did not work with the Mini valve.

if u start jackin w/ the sear, u bound to get problems. agd makes those to tight tolerances. i tried it and i thought my 'mag died. i called agd and they said had i done anything to it and i said the sear thing and they were like yup, get a new one.
