Check me and make sure I'm on the right track

My buddy has a level 7 valve assembly and it has seen some use. With the original bolt and spring it would only shoot at about 270fps without leaking out the back.

Since he has installed level 10 (per instructions) it will not cycle the bolt without leaking out the back of the regulator.

I personally replaced all seals and Orings for him and made sure they were on correctly. The regulator seat is placed correctly in its position and there are no pieces of teflon tape or anything else obstructing air flow inside of the valve.

My summation ist that the regulator piston has finally worn out. I believe his serial number is a low one. Do you think I am right or have I missed something.

Sounds more like the spring-pack is shot.

I thought that might be it too but I wasn't sure. I'll check that first.
      Thanks.
