    Please Explain the Powertube

    What exactly do the powertube spacers do? What hits them/rests on them that needs to be just the exact length off of the valve? I am guessing the bolt.

    Could a flatter O-ring underneath the spacer mean that a larger PT spacer would be needed, and vice-versa?

    Power tube spacers push the power tube o-ring to the back of the power tube. The farther back the o-ring is pushed the less pressure the o-ring exerts on the bolt stem. This makes for a more crisp trigger pull. If the power tube spacer is too long it will cause leaking when the trigger is slightly pulled or even continuously. If the power tube spacer is too short, it may cause the bolt stem to seat too far in the o-ring. When the trigger is pulled the bolt won't release from the o-ring as easily and thus causes bolt stick.

    Slight differences in various o-rings may mean that different spacers are needed to achieve the same results.
