freak barrel

hey guys i have an older all american barrel, like really old, and i was wondering if i could put the front into a freak back? i mean my barrel is a two piece, but i don't know if the threads on the freak back are the same as on the older aa. also, are the older all american barrels supposed to come apart or are they like leave them how they are? thanks

The old AA's do not come apart. They are not threaded, so the tips aren't interchangeable like they are between the new AA and the Freak. Doc Nickel will turn your AA tip into a Freak tip for between $25 and $50, but it'd be cheaper to simply buy a new AA tip. Doc does custom freak tips from old barrels, & Barrel tips, rather nice idea.
