I think some people have done it and it works just fine but you wont catch me replacing anything on my valve.

iv done it.. remove the 2ton SS reg and replace it with a threaded aluminum plug(custom made). then run your favorite reg's output into the valve like usual.. instant weight reduction! :) not to mention an inch shorter...

iv found that most regs have a hard time keeping up though.. so choose your reg carefuly..

      out!

If you want to try it just turn the mag velocity adjuster in as far as it will go. Now, any input pressure from your max-flow will be the pressure that the front chamber will see. It'll work fine.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

i suppose that there is no problemo...
i gonna take off my mag own regulator and put there some kind of plug and gonna cut side- and bodyrail.
..and then my mag is shorter. i want that marker shorter bacause i think it's like the shotgun ...nooo ...it's better than shotgun, but it's too long and i want that is little pit smaller... so ..thanks.

(sorry about my woodleg language... i'm just fin dude)

Take the reg piston and reg seat out, and seal the blow-off hole in your velocity adjuster with a wad of teflon tape. Works just fine. I've done it with my Max-Flo on a bad gun day, when all the guns I had brought had issues, the reg seat on my mag went, and I just ran it directly off the Flo.

The Max-Flo will ahve no problems keeping up with even an RT.

Actually you can't gut the RT reg, it won't work properly. But gutting the AIR reg and running off a flo is very workable.
