Leaking out back of velocity adj.

I am getting this standard valve in a trade, and the kid says that it is leaking out the back of the velocity adj. I can't i dentify the problem yet, because i dont have it, but just thought people in here might know in advance. Thanks for your responses

First thing you need to do is go get a rebiuld-parts kit.
Use all the o-ring in the kit and replace everything in the standard valve.
This will take care of the "soft" ware and if it still leaks, then you can start with "hard" ware from the back of the reg where you adjust the velocity.
ex: spring pack, reg. piston, etc...

Try to chrono the gun and set the fps at 280. It may not vent at the proper fps velocity setting.

mine is leaking out of the same place and it seems to get worse as I increase the velocity. I guess I should just follow the same advice. Should I buy those parts from AGD?

Definately get them @AGD.
Where else can get get the best?? Only from the creators themselves...
