how do i put the new nubin in?

Okay, i have some older barrels and the nubins in them seem pretty strait forward, though i am looking at my parts kit that have the side that goes towards teh tip of the barrel and this little end with the eye. Do I bend the eye to face down into the barrel or what?

One end should be in the shape of a "U" the other end may be in the shape of a "P", the end that looks like a "P" goes in the hole by the feed hole in the barrel...the "U" part should lay flat against the barrel in the nubbin slot. You'll have to move the barrel o-rings down the barrel..the move them back up to hold the nubbin in place.
